What is Love? Some say, it is the invisible film which doesn't allow you to see the reality and in effect you are blind. Some say, it is super consciousness which makes you blind for humanely activities. Some say, it is nothing, I don't feel it but yeah dare not say anything about my girl.
Well said, there are so many feelings attributed to love, but what is it? Do you know? Or, shall I believe it because such is said, written and of course dare not go against it.
I started my journey to explore this thing call 'What is Love'. Let me introduce myself. I am David, eligible bachelor; believe in living life to full. One day, while walking down the pub, I saw someone cursing on his top pitch. I happen to struggle my way forward as he was all over the footpath. I decided to wait, allow him to settle down and sneak my way forward. So, did I.
Next Friday, again, I went towards the pub and this time, I see a familiar face walking down the street with a pretty lady. I immediately recognized the man; I met the previous week who was screaming on top of pitch, wavering over the footpath. I said to myself, hummm! What is he doing today. What a change. Must be happy.
The following Friday, I am on my way to home from office and guess what, I see the same person sitting in front of me. I just started the conversation, 'Hi, good weather'? 'I am planning to visit my local pub'.
The gentleman also started talking. We had some good chat. Then suddenly like a shameless person, I asked him very politely, I think, we have met. He looked at me with surprise and couldn't recall. I explained to him the encounter previous 2 Fridays. His face turned red. He looked uncomfortable. He started coughing. I immediately sensed the discomfort and apologized for asking an uncomfortable question.
He looked into my eyes and asked me, are you married? I said no. He then asked me, Are you in a long stable relationship? He seemed to chuckle a bit and then said, last two Friday you saw the display of my love for my wife.
I was little amazed. Then I looked into his eyes and thought, what is he saying ?
He explained that he has been married for few years. He loves his wife to bit. That day, when he went to his office, his wife didn't call him. When he tried to ring her, she didn't picke up the phone. When he came home, the door was locked. He felt that she has left him for good. Since, he loved his wife to bits, he went mad. He comforted himself at the pub. And after getting intoxicated, he started screaming. That is what he remembers and after that his memory fazes away.
I said, now I understand, I saw you in that state and thought you as a mindless drunk. The I asked about the other Friday, when he was with a pretty woman.
He said, he woke up in his own house, in his bed. Suddenly he saw his wife appearing before him. He couldn't believe himself. He asked, are you back? Why did you leave me? He was crying....His wife comforted him and said, my dear, I didn't leave you. I was out with friends and my mobile went dead. When I arrived, I didn't find you at home. I looked around and tried calling you. After some time, I called the police and they helped me track you.
Then he looked at me and said, I felt such a relief and happiness, I can't explain. The world didn't matter to me. She is with me.
We got down at the station and I sighed, may be this is Love.
